December 5th
Flight from Copenhagen to San Fransisco went well, but was superlong and boring as most flights are! We finally arrived to San Fransisco, located our hotel shuttle and went to the hotel, double Tree by Hilton in Burlingame. Quite ok hotel, bed is super nice but the room is in à 70-ties brownish color 😃
Today we went with the hotel shuttle back to the airport and took the Bart train to San Fran city, took approx 30 min, not too bad, we paid 36 USD for 4 persons, not too bad.
We started with a good cup of coffe at Starbucks and then went down to pier 33 and took the Ferry over to Alcatraz. Sounds superstupid, but i think that this island is magnificent, so beautiful. Of course the prisoners did not think the same 😃
At Alcatraz you can take this awesome tour, you get a audio device and a headset then you walk slowly through the prison guided by old inmates and guards. The story is really interesting and you get a great understanding of this place.
After doing Alcatraz we went down to Fishermans wharf and had something to eat at Hardrock Café, not the best place but i was superhungry and this was what we all agreed upon 😃
We are not in an agreement on what to do tomorrow, there are some suggestions though, like hop on hop off buses, golden gate park, walmart, city walk, so let's see what we agree upon. Pictures will be uploaded soon,
